Project profile

Canals in the central urban area are very dense. Due to the imperfection of sewage discharge system and inadequate pollution interception, a large amount of sewage is discharged into the river channel, which worsens the water quality. In addition, the discharge of municipal solid waste and sewage makes the water in the canal black and smelly, and the sediment deposition is very serious.

Project management plan

The treatment project adopts the water ecological restoration technology system composed of river sediment improvement technology and water ecosystem construction technology to carry out water ecological restoration for the river basin water. This system technology can effectively absorb the internal source pollution and non-point source pollution (atmospheric precipitation, rainfall, surface runoff, garbage leaves and other non-point source pollution), and restore the natural balance of water ecosystem.

First, river dredging

The river is dammed in sections. It is divided into 5 sections according to the actual length of the river. Among them, the first section is designated as the first pool, and this section is set as a temporary sludge storage tank. All the sludge in the last four sections is cleared to the first section, and then the sludge is transported from the tank to a conditioning tank in the site on the shore for conditioning, and then transported to a river special press for pressing treatment.

Second, the sediment dewatering

Because of the high water content of the bottom sludge of the river and canal, a process with obvious reduction effect is needed to dewater and facilitate subsequent transportation and disposal. Therefore, the treatment process adopted by the project should be characterized by high efficiency and energy saving, low water content of the sludge after treatment and convenience of subsequent resource utilization. Therefore, we decided to adopt mechanical dehydration integration technology (super high pressure filter press dewatering), which can be effectively coupled with sediment dredging, and has the advantages of rapid dewatering of sediment, less sediment transport cost and management cost.
