WEFTEC 2018 – An Amazing Trip to North America

The world’s leading water treatment equipment and technology exhibition, hosted by Water Environment Federation, was grandly held at Morrill Convention Center in New Orleans from 1 October to 3 October, 2018. WEFTEC started in 1928 and had been held successfully annually for 90 years. With the continuous upgrading of all aspects of the exhibition, the increasing number of exhibitors and the continuous expanding scale of technical exchange meeting, it has become one of the world’s oldest, most influential and most authoritative water treatment technology and equipment trade exhibition.

In the United States, the problems faced by wastewater treatment equipment are very severe, with 63% of wastewater treatment facilities running over time. And the demand for desalination technology is growing in arid areas of America. The main limitation of desalination technology is efficiency. With the shortage of fresh water, these limitations will be gradually diluted and ignored. The United States is an important trade partner of us. So its concern and trend on water treatment will directly affect the trade development between Chinese companies and American companies. As the leading wastewater sludge treatment equipment and technical service provider, we made a momentous appearance at this exhibition with our core product – multi plate screw press. Through technical innovation and research and development, our screw press has obtained a number of Chinese and American patents. At present, the products have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions, and have received high praise from customers at the same time.

The multi plate screw press is set up to ANSYS crushing finite element analysis theory model. It fundamentally solves the industrial problems of traditional dewatering equipment which are easily blocked, unsuitable for low-concentrated sludge and oily sludge, of high consumption and difficult to operate. The screw shaft adopts a process of surfacing super wear resistant carbide material, and the thickness of carbide material increases 150 times. The screw shaft is extended by 15%, which is more wear-resistant, better in dewatering efficiency and performance.
