Ningbo Canned Fruit Wastewater Sludge Dewatering Project

Ningbo Xiuke Food Co. Ltd is located in dongshan village, tangxi town, yinzhou district, Ningbo city. The wastewater of fruit and vegetable processing industry is obviously different from that of other industries. For example, the nature of wastewater will change with the change of time and production materials (such as pineapple from April to May, yellow peach around June, cherry from April to July, orange from November to January, etc.). Depending on the front-end isolation process, different amounts of soft impurities (such as yellow peach peel, orange peel, orange core, various pulp fibers, etc.) will be mixed into the wastewater. All these problems affect the dewatering effect of sludge in fruit and vegetable processing industry.

The company mainly produces canned fruits and boiled vegetables, which are quite famous in the local area. From November of that year to January of the next year, the amount of wastewater produced by the canned oranges is the largest, which is about 800 tons/day, and the water consumption in the off-season is about 500 tons/day. The annual discharge of wastewater from boiled vegetables is relatively average, which is about 100 tons per day. Due to the old technology of the wastewater plant, the pretreatment equipment has lost its function, and the site is also very limited. The COD content in wastewater is too high, and the suspended pectin group cannot be completely removed, all kinds of problems have troubled them. After taking over the project, we updated the overall process, added new equipment such as hydraulic grille, integrated air flotation tank, screw press for fruit and vegetable processing industry, and supporting polymer dosing device and pump, etc. We have improved the process of the original tank and pipeline direction. On the premise of not increasing the number and volume of the tank, we have improved the working efficiency of each tank, so that the old system can meet the needs of the whole plant for the wastewater treatment. After testing, the system effluent after modification has met and exceeded the municipal level B standard.
