Outstanding Contribution Awards for Z.J. High-tech Zone

On April 20, 2012, the assembly for assessing and commending enterprises and individuals with outstanding contribution to development of Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone was held in Shanghai Municipal Government. Shen Xiaoming, Vice Mayor of Shanghai and Director of the Management Committee of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone attended the assembly and gave a speech. It was the first commending assembly since the establishment of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone 20 years ago.

In the commending assembly, 99 enterprises (institutions) such as Techase, GE, SNDA, SMIC, IBM and Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute were awarded the title of Enterprises with Outstanding Contribution to Development of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone.

At the 20th anniversary of Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, enterprises and individuals with outstanding contribution to development of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone were assessed and confirmed by Management Committee of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone, Shanghai HR and Social Security Bureau and Shanghai Administration of Civil Service through recommendation by Science Commission of Pudong New District, each enterprise and high-tech zone, two-round expert review and opinion solicitation, in accordance with the principles of being open and fair, considering both contribution and independent innovation, and balancing industrial field with features of zones, with a view to improve the construction and development of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone, and encourage enterprise and individuals to be engaged in innovation and startup.

Winning such a title means our independent innovation capacity and our contribution to Zhangjiang High-tech Zone have been recognized and encouraged.
